These include severe learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, profound and multiple learning disabilities and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. All of our pupils have a statement of special educational needs.
We are very proud of our school and we are committed to working within a multi-professional team including Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Music Therapists and Sports Leaders to create exciting learning environments that encourage each pupil to reach their full potential
We offer our pupils a positive and supportive learning environment within which we deliver the best possible education to meet their individual learning needs. We work hard to ensure that all our pupils feel positive about themselves and their learning, and consequently acquire a high level of self-esteem. All successes, no matter how small, are celebrated. Our ‘Imagine, Believe , Achieve’ moto reflects this.
We recognise the special importance of school life for every pupil and their family, and we encourage working in partnership with families to ensure both a productive and happy experience for all concerned. Our Family Engagement Lead, ensures that parental contribution to our work here is welcomed and that we offer families support, information and training where appropriate. As a school we have gained The Investors in Families Lockdown Award and are now working towards The Investors in Families Emerald Award.
